This building is located on the West side of Federal Highway/U.S.1, between Park Avenue and Greenbriar Drive, Lake Park, Florida. This one-story Craftsman-style bungalow was built around 1923.

Bungalow houses were inspired by William Morris’ English Arts and Crafts Movement, Gustave Stickley’s Craftsman aesthetic, and the West Coast designs of Greene and Greene. This popular housing type was also influenced by architectural elements of the Far East. The rapid growth of Florida in the years dating from 1900 to 1930 led to the widespread construction of bungalows throughout the State. One of the earliest homes constructed in Kelsey City, this building is now used as Dr. Krape’s dentist office.
